This is a fantastic ‘plank on frame’ model of a turn of the century steam powered launch. The length is 30"and it has only a 6" beam. The top of the smokestack stands 12" above the stand, 6.5" above the deck. The entire boat is wood including the boiler and firebox. The rudder and prop move & are steel, the steam lines are copper, and the shaft stuffing box is brass. The cleats and chocks are antiqued brass, the stand is nut wood, and there are flagpoles at both ends. The stand sits on a flat surface or holds the boat suspended off a wall. There is a floor and a bench seat around most of the compartment. All lines are clean and proportional; a Great piece, this River Queen!!
