I’m proud to present one of the most intricate runabouts I've ever seen…. it was designed after a 1939 -40 double cockpit Chris-Craft ‘barrelback’. The model measures 17"x 6" and sits 6" high with its stand. The entire boat is made of solid mahogany, with the decks cut and inlaid. The mahogany planks on the sides are proportionately narrow and are ‘plank on frame’. All fittings are chromed non-ferrous metal, and the prop and wheel move.
This is being offered by a company with its offices in Europe, "as availability allows". The model is SO fine, and so sure to be treasured as an heirloom in its day, I just had to feature it! I’ve put 3 pictures up so please be patient…they’re worth it!
